IEL engineering shall ensure that our power design cover all power equipment such as electrical control panels, mains monitoring panels for the purpose of power distribution, monitoring and
control of the entire premises. This will ensure ease of isolation for the purpose of routine maintenance, integrity checks or troubleshooting. Also lighting protection and earthing system is part
of our design to ensure proper protection for all electrical equipment with proper earthing termination system to allow for the impulse characteristics of fault current and to enhance current
draining to earth, while minimizing the risk of dangerous voltage surges within the building/structure, we also pay attention to earth termination system shape, dimension and the earth
resistanc evalue.
Earth termination systems should meet below requirement. The resistance value measured using conventional equipment should be equal to orlessthan10 ohms. However a resistance less than
1.0 ohm will be better appreciated in at elecommunication outfit.
